AEM 6 Channel CAN Sensor Module

AEM’s 6 Channel CAN Sensor Module provides an affordable and easy way to add temperature, pressure, fuel level, and tachometer signals on to a CD Carbon Digital dash through AEMnet CAN bus! It supports the Bosch CAN 2.0b standard, making it compatible with many third-party devices that accept a programmable CAN bus input, which also allows you to add additional channels to a non-AEM ECU, dash or logger.

AN EASY, AFFORDABLE WAY TO ADD CHANNELS TO CD CARBON DASHES!

Carbureted Vehicles - The 6 Channel CAN Sensor Module provides the basic channels that users need to get data onto a CD Carbon Digital Dash in a carbureted vehicle, including tachometer, fuel level, and pressure/temp sensors. Vehicle speed can be achieved by using a GPS-enabled dash or by adding a Vehicle Dynamics Module.

08-Up Stock/Reflashed ECUs – This module is the perfect add-on for CD Carbon Dash owners who are sending channels to a CD Carbon Dash from an OBDII CAN stock ECU and want to add additional channels that are not available through the factory CAN stream.

Standalone CAN-based EFI – Racers who are using a non-AEM CAN-based programmable ECU and have consumed all of the inputs can use this module to add additional channels to the dash that they want to see or log (logging requires CD Carbon Logging Dash).

WHAT YOU GET
The 6 Channel CAN Sensor Module includes two 0-5v analog inputs, two temp inputs, RPM input, and fuel level input. The enclosure is IP67-rated and the unit is dustproof/water-resistant. A 12-Pin DTM-style connector and pins are included. Please see the Features tab for more info.

AEM 4 Port AEMnet CAN Hub

AEM’s 4 Port AEMnet CAN Hub is the perfect solution for connecting multiple AEMnet CAN bus-enabled devices together. This convenient Module provides a central docking station for four AEMnet cables via 4-way DTM-style housings and can provide power to all of the connected devices on the Hub through a single port (3A max current capacity – NOT for use to power UEGO sensor heaters). Users can daisy-chain two 4 Port AEMnet CAN Hubs together for a total of 6 connected devices.

AEMnet buses must be properly terminated using termination resistors on each end of the port (120 Ohms each, see Specs tab for AEM Devices with termination resistors). AEM offers DTM-style 4-pin termination plugs that simplify this process if you have a device that does not have an integrated or selectable termination resistor.

The 4 Port CAN hub is IP67-rated and can be installed in the engine compartment. Mounting hardware and instructions are included.

POWERING DEVICES THROUGH THE 4 PORT AEMNET CAN HUB:

All 4 Port AEMnet Hub ports have the same pinout, so power and ground is only necessary on one port when powering devices through the Hub. IMPORTANT: The Hub has a max current capacity of 3A (do NOT attempt to distribute UEGO sensor heater power through the Hub).

PROPER BUS TERMINATION:

AEMnet buses must be properly terminated for proper operation. The termination resistors are 120 Ohms each and must be located at the physical ends of the bus wires (two total). Please refer below for Termination Resistor availability by AEMnet-enabled device:

INFINITY SERIES 7 PROGRAMMABLE EFI OVERVIEW
The Infinity ECU delivers state-of-the-art programmable EFI control capabilities typically found only at upper echelons of Motorsports. Through the Infinity ECU, AEM makes this technology affordable for both professional race teams and amateur racers.

200MHz Processor and Real Time Operating System
Late model vehicle ECU’s all run on faster processors. The Infinity ECU is built around a latest-generation 32 bit floating point 200MHz automotive processor and Real Time Operating System (RTOS), which is capable of processing 400 MIPS (millions of instructions per second). By comparison, common competitive systems typically use 20MHz to 50MHz processors. To our knowledge, the Infinity ECU currently has the fastest processing speed of any aftermarket Motorsports ECU available. This allows the Infinity to do more, faster, in a more stable programming environment.

  • The Infinity’s 200MHz processor and RTOS makes the Infinity more responsive, for a better driving experience
  • The Infinity’s 200MHz processor and RTOS allows for more accurate ignition timing, which enables an engine to create more power
  • The Infinity’s faster processor allows it to perform more computational features with no sacrifice in processing performance

SELECTING THE RIGHT INFINITY ECU
Infinity ECU modules are designed for maximum flexibility across many types of applications. ECU modules and harnesses are sold separately for both Supported and Plug & Play applications. Choose the ideal Infinity ECU based on your application’s ignition and fuel injector output requirements using the Infinity Specifications Chart, and then choose between our available Plug & Play or Universal harnesses to create the Infinity solution that suits your specific needs.

SUPPORTED vs. PLUG & PLAY APPLICATIONS
The Infinity ECU delivers comparable tuning functionality regardless of application type. It is available for a wide variety of applications in two distinct forms:

Supported Applications

  • Infinity Supported applications refer to an engine family or cam/crank pattern for which the Infinity ECU has been tested and validated to run. However, certain ancillary vehicle systems (such as factory instrument clusters, automatic transmissions, and certain drive by wire throttles), may not be supported.
  • The Set Up Wizard included with the InfinityTuner user interface software dramatically simplifies initial tuning configuration to help ensure successful initial start up for Supported applications.
  • Wiring is required for Supported applications. AEM offers Universal wiring harnesses in several iterations and detailed application-specific wiring instructions/schematics (see Wiring Harnesses section).

Plug & Play Applications
Infinity Plug & Play applications are available for select vehicles. Plug & Play applications support a vehicle’s engine and most other ancillary vehicle systems, and include application-specific start up calibrations. The Infinity Plug & Play harness (sold separately) connects directly into the vehicle’s factory ECU harness and requires no additional wiring.

By connecting the analogue output of most wideband O2 controllers (i.e. Innovate LC-2, AEM UEGO etc, sold separately) to the G-Force III’s auxiliary input, you can toggle between boost pressure and air/fuel ratio display. Not only does this save you from having to install a separate AFR gauge in your car, it can also save your engine! The ID1300x is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300x was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.

While the ID1300x was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300x has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300x allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup.

The ID725 exists for those applications where the ID1000 is just a little bit too big, and will maintain strict linearity at flow rates that will satisfy even the smallest engines. This makes the ID725 ideal for emissions compliant OEM applications while offering the high flow rates required for mildly boosted motors. With pressure capability in excess of 8 bar, this injector has found a home in many different applications. From upgrade injectors on V8's running factory Ford or GM ECU's, to OEM supply on everything from emissions legal turbo kits to Noble's 650hp M600, the ID725 is holding its own with the ID1000 and ID2000 which have achieved near cult status in the motorsport community.
